Time has no beginning or end, everything is a continuity

In the midst of so many tragedies, the pandemic, political and social issues, the economic crisis, comes the beginning of a new year, new expectations, dreams...

I had a beautiful conversation with an older person and she told me: “In this life, every moment is unique!”.

Such a simple and clear thought made me reflect a lot on life. As children, we thought we would never grow up, become teenagers, become adults, and then grow old. Everything felt like it was forever – even when we get a job, get married, raise a family, make friends, we believe that everything will be eternal, including our own life!

They say that both good and bad things don't last forever. Here's another very wise popular saying. After these reflections, I got really excited, oddly enough – of course fears and insecurities always show up!

But, looking at the other side of the coin, I remembered, more than ever, that the most important thing is to live “the here and now” – since yesterday is gone and tomorrow hasn't arrived!

We can look at life and time from many angles. Has this year started, or has last year ended? In fact, time has no beginning or end, everything is a continuity.

What matters is what we are going to do with our time! This is the halfway point. We can do something for ourselves and our fellow men, or we can just sit and wait for valuable time to pass...

Happy New Year! Happy New Time!
